Practical, quality therapy, brought to you!

Free Phone Consultations

This is a brief, informal chat about your child's communication and eating skills.  I'll ask about your concerns and any medical diagnoses that may impact your child's development.  Based on this conversation, I'll determine whether an evaluation may benefit your child.  I'll also discuss my availability and wait list with you.  To provide my clients with ethical, exceptional care, I do not schedule evaluations until I also have the availability to begin therapy if the child qualifies.  Phone consultations usually take about 10 minutes.  Click here to start the process.

Speech-Language Evaluations and Feeding Evaluations

Based on our phone consultation, I'll provide a full speech-language evaluation or feeding evaluation.  This gives a whole, clear picture of your child's abilities, and will help us set individualized therapy goals.  You will receive a copy of your child's evaluation report and plan of care within a week.  I can use evaluations from other practices if they were completed within the past 6 months, but in these instances your child's first therapy session will also include informal assessment measures.  This again, ensures I provide your child with the highest quality of care!  Formal evaluations typically last 60 minutes.

Personalized Therapy

If your child qualifies, therapy begins shortly after your evaluation, in most cases the following week!  I offer therapy services in homes, daycares, and preschools.  Click here for more information about therapy settings.  Regardless of where you choose to have your child seen for speech therapy, it will be hands-on, play-based, and centered around your child's daily routines.  It will also involve strategies that you can immediately begin using day-to-day to enhance your child's communication or feeding development.  I typically recommend therapy one to two times weekly with each session lasting 30-60 minutes.  I'll always consider your child's evaluation results with your family's needs when determining the frequency and duration of therapy sessions.
